Hi! My name is Mrs. Suzie Askins and I am beginning in my 30th year of teaching. I am a Canisteo Central School graduate and count it an honor and privilege to be a teacher in this wonderful school district. I graduated from Robert's Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and moved to Buffalo for nine years where I taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First grade and ELA. I moved back to Canisteo in 1991 and have been here ever since. I received a Master's of Science degree from the State University at Geneseo in Elementary Curriculum Development and I graduated from the State University at Brockport in 2009 with an advanced degree (CAS) in Educational Administration. I have taught grades Pre-K through fourth grade, and although each level has positive characteristics, teaching four and five year olds is where my heart is. |
