Congratulations to Derek Brown, Tyler Herrick, Slade Ryan and Jacob Goodwin Section V 200 freestyle relay team champions and setting a new school record with a time of 1:37.63, breaking a record from 1997. A BIG CONGRATS goes out to 2 time sectional winner Derek Brown who won two individual sectional titles one in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.44 (school record). And one in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.04 (school record).
The Varsity Cheerleaders competed in the Arkport Cheerfest on February 11, and took first place in their division. They also competed in the Hornell Winter Cheer competition and took first place in their division at that competition as well. Congrats, girls, and good luck at sectionals!
CONGRATULATIONS Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball and Swim Team on receiving the SCHOLAR ATHLETE TEAM AWARD; This award is based on a combine average of 90% or above with a certain amount of athletes from each individual team!!!!!
The Board of Education will hear a presentation Monday evening on this analysis and give the administrative team direction regarding whether they would like to have a more substantive discussion about this proposal at a future Board meeting.

ACE Calculus students from Canisteo-Greenwood recently competed in the annual Corning Community College Math Competition. Andrew King, Mallory Thompson, Katelyn Gavin, Erin Brownell, and Ryan Tracy represented the CG math team. This team won first place in the competition for their division. In addition, Andrew King placed second for his individual score among all students in all divisions in this year’s competition. Congratulations to our Champions!
