Welcome back to the start of another great school year! On behalf of the Canisteo-Greenwood PTO, we would like to invite you to join us in making a
difference in the lives of our school children. WHAT IS THE CG-PTO AND WHO CAN BE A MEMBER? The Canisteo-Greenwood PTO is an organization of parents, family members, teachers and school community members who come together with the goal of providing our school with the funds, programs, resources, and volunteers that are needed to enrich and maximize the education of each student.

In the past, we have sponsored and supported numerous in-school programs, including an author's visit with Suzanne Bloom, Matt McElligott, David Catrow, a bike safety rodeo, family movie nights, gym and swim events, book fairs and many school-wide celebrations. Each year we have continued to expand the programs and support that we are capable of. We warmly invite you to join us in whatever capacity you can manage. CHILD CARE AT PTO MEETINGS! This year we will offer child care at our PTO meetings to encourage more parents to attend. This will be a quiet time to wind down close to bedtime. If you would like to bring your child(ren) all ready for bed, they can enjoy some bedtime stories with our babysitters while you offer your valuable time to our organization. PTO MEETINGS 2012-2013: Please note that all meetings begin at 6:30 pm in the elementary school library. We will work hard to finish our meetings in one hour or less. Your time is valuable and we all wish to be home with our children! Our Meeting Dates are as follows:Oct 2, Nov 6, Dec 4, Jan 8, Feb 5, Mar 5 , Apr 9, May 7, Jun 4 **Meeting dates and times are subject to change.** |
