Available to all high school juniors and seniors who are currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.

    American Legion Auxiliary (http://www.deptny.org) - Multiple scholarships available to candidates who are children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of Veterans.
    American Legion Richard M. Pedro Memorial Scholarship (2017 Application) Graduating senior that is a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of a NYS Legionnaire in good standing.  a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of a deceased NYS Legionnaire or a service member killed as a result of the war on terrorism including the World Trade Center, Pentagon, Iraq and Afghanistan.
    American Legion Post 846 Higher Education Award:  (2018 Higher Education)2 cash awards totaling $1,000 each to students pursueing higher education.  Awards are based on School articipation, community serive American legion involment.  Application deadline is May 8, 2018
    American War Dads Memorial Chapter #47 Scholarship (2016 Application) - Seniors who have a family member or guardian who is a member of one of the four chapters under the V.F.W. Post #2250. 
    Ancient Order of Hibernians-Sons of Ireland (2018 Application)College bound Seniors, involvement with the Catholic Church. Application deadline is June 8th
    Assemblyman James D Conte Memorial Academic Scholarship (2017 Application) Seniors who have demonstrated a GPA of 85 and above, Active in Community Service, Dedication to pursue and complete a higher education degree, demonstrates financial need. Application deadline is Friday, April 14, 2017.
    Assemblyman John J. Marchi Memorial Athletic Scholarship (2017 Application) GPA of 85 and above, active in Community Service, Dedication to pursue and complete a higher education degree and demonstrates financial need.  Must be involved in an organized sport. Application deadline is Friday, April 14, 2017.
    Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York, Inc. "Ned Carter" Scholarship (http://www.firedistnys.com) - High School senior related to a firefighter, who is a firefighter, or is an explorer in a fire department that is a current paid member in good standing of the Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York. Due date: February 24, 2018
    AXA Achievement Scholarship (2018 Application) - Graduating high school seniors Deadline is December 14, 2018.
    Barbara & Joseph Littleton Scholarship (http://www.communityfund.org) - Graduating high school senior from Steuben County with a preference for school districts serving Bath and/or Hammondsport. Must demonstrate significant financial need with no possibility of family financial support for higher education.
    Beatrice L. Williams Scholarship Fund - Scholarship Posting (2018 Application) - Graduating high school senior who has been accepted in any of Alfred State's degree-granting programs. Application due April 1, 2018
    Beauty & Wellness Scholarship:(www.skincareox.com/scholarship/)  $500 quarterly scholarship offered September 30, January 1st, March 31st & June 30th every year to a graduating High School Female Senior planning to attend a 4 year, 2 year, vocational, or technical school in the US.  All disciplines and GPA's can apply.
    Buick Achievers Scholarship Program (http://www.buickachievers.com) - Graduating high school senior who plans to enroll full time at a four year college or university. Must be planning to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business with an interest in the automotive industry. 
    Canisteo American Legion Post 846 Higher Education Award (2018 Application) - Graduating high school senior(s) who are children or grandchildren of a U.S. Military veteran and have a relative or guardian currently an active member of Post 846. Graduates intending to pursue higher education who have school participation, community service and American Legion involvement. 
    Canisteo-Greenwood Employee's Association Award (2018 application) Graduating seniors who are planning to attend college are eligible for a $500 award by submitting an essay to the Scholarship Chairperson by May 11, 2018.
    Canisteo Police Club Scholarship (2018 APPLICATION) Graduating seniors pursuing his or her education in Criminal Justice field.  Completed applications must be turned into the Guidance Office no later than May 15.
    Carolyn Matthews Memorial Scholarship (http://www.communityfund.org) - Student who is involved with school and community service activities in addition to being based on character and academic records. Nomination from guidance counselor(s) required.
    CGTrader:  High School senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA undergraduate or graduate student.  Deadline for submission is June 1, 2017.  Submit online application @ https://www.cgtrader.com/scholarships.
    Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc. (http://www.communityfund.org) - Multiple local scholarships with descriptions and printable applications are available.  Most deadlines are Feb. 14, 2019.  some later.  Each applicaiton will have a due date on it.
    David Gordon Law Firm Scholarship: (Application link Due Dec. 7, 2018)  Essay or video on the following topic " Have you or someone you know been affected by drunk driving? In what ways has it made or would it make you a safer driver?.  Deadline for submission is December 7, 2018.
    Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) (2018 Application)Female student in your senior year pursuing a course of study in education. Application deadline June 15, 2018
    District 6 Federal Credit Union. (2018 Application)  Must be a members child or grandchild who is a high school senior and will be pursuing Higher Education after Graduation. Deadline: March 2, 2018
    Diversity Matters 2 U.S. Award. (2018 Application) Created in memory of our former Superintendent Robert Wood. Canisteo-Greenwood Senior successfully completed 3 Business Courses and will enroll with a Business or related major. Return to Canisteo-Greenwood Guidance Office by May 25, 2017.
    Elks National Foundation Scholarships (https://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/mvs.cfm) - The Elks National Foundation provides $3.74 million in college scholarships each year through its three scholarship programs which are available for high school seniors. Deadline 11/15/2018.

    Empire State Potato Growers, Inc. (2019 Application) - Graduating seniors must be pursuing college studies benefiting the agricultural industry. Due date: January 15, 2019

    Ethel Strickarz Memorial Scholarship (http://www.communityfund.org) - Graduating seniors who plan to pursue their education in the field of special education, human services, or a related clinical area such as nursing, psychology, speech pathology, or physical/occupational therapy.
    Farm Credit East  (Farm Credut East Informational Flyer) or (http://FarmCreditEast.com) - Students pursuing post high school education (full-time) in the fall leading to a career in agriculture, commercial fishing or the forest products industry.
    FASNY / Firemen's Association of the State of New York (http://www.fasny.com/awards/) - Applicant must be actively participating as a volunteer firefighter or junior firefighter or participate in a volunteer EMS program. Must be a member in good standing with FASNY or have a parent/legal guardian who is a member. Due Date is March 15, 2018.
    Gift of Sight New York State Grand Lodge Foudation, Inc. (2018 Application) Recipient must be a current high school senior of Italian descent who is legally blind.  Application deadline is March 1, 2018
    Greenwood Memorial Scholarship Application (2018 Application) - Graduating seniors who plan to pursue an education at a college or university the following fall. Candidates will be chosen based on academics, extracurricular activities, leadership, financial need and essay.  Application deadline is April 30, 2018 to the Guidance Office. 
    Helen G. Schuyler Scholarship (http://www.communityfund.org) - Graduating senior that plans to study fine or decorative art at the collegiate level.
    Horatio Alger Career & Technical Scholarship Program (http://application.horatioalger.org) - Graduating senior with plans to enroll at a community college for the first time by Fall 2018; Exhibits a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program at an accredited non-profit community college in the United States. Deadline June 15, 2018.
    Hornell Association Scholarship (2018 Application) - Graduating seniors who plan to attend college that have parents or guardians as members of the Association.  Due to Guidance by May 31, 2018
    Hornell Erie Federal Credit Union: Must be a member of a participating New York Credit Union (2018 Application) Deadline January 5, 2018 
    Hornell Kiwanis Club Business Scholarship (2018 Application) Student must be interested in obtaining a business degree and have taken business courses in High School.  Application deadline is May 31, 2018.
    James ("Rip") Holden Memorial Scholarship (2018 Application) Graduating seniors pursuing a degree in Conservation and related fields.  Application is due April 27, 2018
    Knights of Columbus Michael C. Fucci Character Award (2017 Application) - Graduating seniors who plan to enroll in college/secondary education. Selection is based on a letter of recommendation and application due to high school main office by June 1, 2017; recipients being chosen for representing "good character". 
    Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernians: (2018 Application) Graduating seniors that are active in the Catholic Church.  Must be enrolled or plan to enroll in Secondary education for the following fall. Submit a typed essay approx. 100-300 words on how this scholarship will help you meet your college goals.  Deadline is June 1st to the Guidance Office.
    LendingTree (http://www.lendingtree.com/about/scholarship) - Graduating seniors with a 3.5 GPA or higher must submit a 30 second video that answers the question - What is your plan for paying for college? The winner of the scholarship will receive $2,500!
    Lieutenant Colonel Robert J. Peisher Award (2018 Application) sponsored by the American War Dads Chapter 48, Canisteo Post 846 -Graduating high school senior(s) who are children or grandchildren of an American War dads member. In the event there are no direct descendants, awards will be available to the CG graduates who are children or grandchildren of members of the Canisteo American Legion Post 846.  Based on Citizenship, Community Involvement, School Participation and Financial Need. Applications due May 11, 2018 to the Guidance Office.
    Manning & Napier Scholarship Program (http://www.sms.scholarshipamerica.org/manningnapier) - Graduating seniors attending high school in the greater Rochester, NY area who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university or an accredited two-year community college with the intent to transfer to four-year school upon completion for the entire upcoming academic year. All majors will be considered.  
    Marine Lance Cpl. Zachary D. Smith Military Award () - Graduating senior who is signed up with one of the Armed Services (Marines, Army, Navy or Air Force) and have signed a "letter of intent" to enter the services upon graduation. Application deadline May 31, 2018
    Matthew R. Row Scholarship Foundation, Inc. - Graduating seniors who have lost a parent or guardian. Scholarship amount of $2,500 toward their college tuition. Application can be found at (www.runforrow.org).

    New York Credit Union Association (2019 New York CU) - College-bound high school senior who is a member in good standing of a participating New York Credit Union.  Senior will be enrolled in either a two or four year accredited educational institution. Due January 5, 2018
    New York State Law Enforcement Officers Union, Council 82 (http://www.council82.org) - Graduating senior who will attend institutions of higher learning beyond high school in the coming year whose parent(s) is/are member(s) in good standing of Council 82.
    New York Water Environment Association Inc. Scholarship (http://www.nywea.org) - Graduating senior who will be enrolled in an environmentally related program in a four year college.  Deadline February 28, 2018
    Norman Harvey Endowment Scholarship (2018 Application) - Graduating senior(s) - Applications will be evaluated on academics, activities and community service.  Due June 1, 2018 to Guidance
    Norm Ward Athletic Scholarship (2018 Application Eligible seniors reside in Steuben County, Should be an active athlete with preference to those involved in running with a GPA of 85% or higher.  Application deadline: April 10, 2018
    Noyes Health Auxiliary Scholarship (2019 Application) - Graduating seniors who wish to major in an aspect of the medical field. Due February 15, 2019 with 2 letters of recommendation and Transcript.
    OppU Achievers Scholarship   Application Must be enrolled full time in High School and possess a CPA of at least3.0.  Provide a 500 words essay.  Four deadlines Sept. 30, Dec. 31, March 31, June 30th.
    Redfin's Scholarship https://www.redfin.com/resources/scholarship Must be a legal US resident, Eighteen years of age or older, graduating High School, Cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above.
    RDGA Foundation, Inc. (http://www.rdga.org) - Graduating seniors who have been accepted for admission as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university. Preference will be given, but not limited, to applicants enrolled in golf-related fields of study, such as Agronomy, Turf Management, Professional Golf Management, etc.
    Scottish American Society of the Southern Tier of New York (2018 Application) - Scottish ancestry is NOT a requirement, merely a clearly defined and explained interest in things Scottish. Application deadline April 21, 2018
    Section V Scholarship: Open to all Seniors graduating in 2019. (2018/19 Application) Application deadlines: Fall sports: Dec. 1, 2018, Winter sports  March 15, 2019, Spring sports June 1, 2019.
    ServU Credit Union SMART Savers Award Program (2018-19 application) - Seniors who are members of the ServU Credit Union attending a two or four year college. Due March 15, 2019
    Society of Women Engineers (2018 Application) or (http://www.swetwintiers.org) -  Female senior(s) who are enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in engineering or computer science at an ABET accredited, CSAB accredited, or SWE approved school. Applications due by March 23, 2018.
    Steuben County Counselors Association Annual Scholarship  (2018 Application) - Students must be nominated to send their applicaiton to the next level.
    Steuben Trust Company Scholarship (2018 Application) - Graduating high school senior who will attend accredited four year college (two-year degree program will be considered) and who demonstrates good citizenship through extracurricular activities. Degree course must be taken (special consideration will be given to student pursuing degree in accounting, finance, technology, or banking-related program). Due date May 1, 2018.
    Twin Tiers Youth For Christ Scholarship (http://www.communityfund.org) - Graduating high school senior who is a Christian and who has a goal to obtain an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
    Tyler S. "Ty" Davis Memorial Award (2018 Application) - Graduating senior who is furthering his/her education beyond high school at a trade school, college, or university.  Due Date of May 31, 2018

    VAC Employees Federal Credit Union Scholarship (http://www.vacemployeesfcu.com/findform.html) - Available to high school seniors who have been members of the VAC Employees Federal Credit Union for at least one year. Applications due by May 5, 2017.
    Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship (http://www.gwcf.org) - For students planning careers in government service.
    Wendy's High School Heisman Award (http://www.wendysheisman.com) - Available to high-achieving senior athletes that excel in the classroom, on the field and within the community. Phase 1 of application due Oct. 2
    William J. & Dorothy H. Cox Foundation Scholarships (2018 Application) - Must have Eagle Scout / Gold Award or have project complete and waiting for approval. Must have participated in at least one sport all four years of high school and earned varsity letter or participated in two or more sports for three years each, and have earned a varsity letter in each. Must be in the top 20% of the senior class and/or have at least an 85 GPA. Must have excellent citizenship/community service other than through scouting projects. TURN FORM / INFORMATION INTO THE GUIDANCE OFFICE NO LATER THAN May 25!! 
    ZipRecruiter Recurring Scholarship: 2018 Application The scholarship award is for $3,000.  Must write a 500-800 word essay that discusses a job you previously held or hold, and describe your ideal post-graduate job.  Deadline June 30th.
