I attended Addison Central School where I majored in Math and Science.  Upon graduating in 1984,
    I attended Corning Community College where I received my AS degree majoring in Art. 
    I then transfered to Alfred State for one semester majoring in floral design and
    interior design.  In 1987, I transfered to Buffalo State College where I obtained
    my BS in art education.  After coming back to Addison, I attended two years at Mansfield
    University getting my Masters in art education.  I started teaching at Canisteo Elementary
    School the Fall of 1991. At Canisteo, I have been in charge of teaching elementary
    students grade Pre-k through 6th until the school merged with Greenwood.  
    and then, taught Pre-k through 4th.up until 2013. After 23 years of teaching in the
    Elementary grades I am now teaching high school grades 7- 12.My extra curricular activities
     included coaching the Varsity Swim Team and Lifeguarding for Family Swim. 
    I am still living in Addison with my samoyed who is trained as a Therapy Dog so we spend
    our weekends visiting people in the nursing homes and hospitals with the goal of helping
    those who suffer emotionally.
