Canisteo Valley Scholastic Enrichment Foundation

We are proud to announce the formation of The Canisteo Valley Scholastic Enrichment Foundation (CVSEF). This organization has been nearly two years in the making. It has been a goal of its members to supplement the limited resources available to the school district in these difficult financial times. The Foundation would like to thank Peter and Lisa Wall and the Universal Health Network for their support and willingness to provide the initiative, time, and effort in launching this very exciting community-based organization.

The following is a brief Q/A regarding our newly formed Foundation:

What is it? The foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that exists to solicit and provide funding to enhance and augment educational opportunities for the students and teachers of the Canisteo-Greenwood Central School District

What does the foundation do? Raises funds from a wide variety of sources in order to provide educational mini-grants to individual teachers, fund special projects at our schools, and meet additional student needs as they arise

Where would the foundation get its funding? The foundation totally relies on donations to fund educational programs and initiatives that are otherwise unfunded by the school district. Since we are a 501(c)(3)  corporation, donations to the foundation are tax deductible!

Who serves on the CVSEF Board of Directors? The board of directors are Pete Wall, Lisa Wall, Lynda Losecco, Andrew Bertch, Karen Canne, Ann Oravec, and Chris Baker. The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeffrey Matteson also serves ex officio as a school district representative to the foundation board.

Where could I send a donation? Tax deductible donations can be sent directly to:
