Flu Season Guidelines
With cold and flu season upon us, please keep the following guidelines in mind when deciding whether or not to send your child to school. This will help control the spread of infections at school.
Students should remain home for the following reasons:
Students returning to school should be kept hone until they have been symptom free for 24 hours. This is important for your child’s health and the health of his or her classmates. Please continue to remind your child of the importance of hand washing.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter concerning the health of our students. Please feel free to contact the nurse’s office with any questions or concerns.

Lab Rats-Super Science Day
Come explore fun science activities: Extract DNA from fruit, make a hover craft, Cartesian diver, marshmallow shooter, paper circuits, slime, bristle bots, catapult engineering, and steelyard balance. Grades 4-7th. Event will run from 9am- 1:30 pm.
Student Dismissal Times
Elementary Dismissal- 2:45pm- Walkers 2:50pm-Bus students High School-3:00pm.
Fitness Center is Open to the Public
The High School fitness center is open to the public.
5am-7:30am- For those individuals who sign up in the District office and sign a waiver.
Monday through Friday while school in session.
Members must attend a training session of the equipment, pay the fee ($10 per month or $80 per year) and sign the waiver form before they can use the facility. Stop by the center any weekday between the hours of 4-8pm to sign up and get started.
Must be a resident of the Canisteo-Greenwood School District.
Elementary School is Open for Walkers
The Elementary school has announced it is open for adult walkers from 3:15-8pm when school is in session. Please refer to the bulletin board for more information.
For the 2018-19 school year all students in grades Pre K-6 will receive FREE breakfast and lunch through the National School Lunch Program. It is still essential that ALL families fill out the 2018-19 Free and Reduced application to keep our lunch program continuing.
