Shout out to our YMCA Middle School Youth and Government reps and their advisors Mrs. Robbins and Mr. Romanchock! These 16 students are currently in Albany with over 400 other middle school students from 25 districts across the entire state, proposing, engaging, and passing legislation in a model government exercise! Each proposed bill must be presented, debated, and questioned at the level of chambers and if they pass, then the whole caucus, with our students doing some of this work on the actual floor of the State Assembly!
