Canisteo-Greenwood High School

The first Friday in May, nationally, is dedicated to the professionals working in our schools’ cafeterias. Friday, May 1st is School Lunch Hero Day. Canisteo Greenwood encourages you to take a moment each day to appreciate the dedication of our nutrition heroes.

Often times the cafeteria is the first place students visit on a school day. From the first time through the cafeteria line, the lunch hero has more than nutrition on their minds.  The well-being of every child is important to them.  Keeping them safe, happy, and providing them with good and delicious food is also a priority.
